Every word raging Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou said after Man City defeat in spiky interview

Manchester City moved to the verge of a historic fourth Premier League title with a win at Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday night. The 2-0 win came in front of a subdued home crowd with a weird atmosphere contributing to occasion.

Much of the talk heading into the game had centred around whether or not Tottenham fans wanted their own team to win due to the significant boost this would hand Arsenal in the Premier League title race - a topic that left many divided ahead of kick-off. There were some anti-Arsenal chants but also pictures of Spurs fans doing the Poznan and celebrating when Erling Haaland opened the scoring.

Spurs had needed a win of their own to remain in the hunt for the final Champions League slot, but defeat meant they can’t catch Aston Villa now, and the best they can finish is fifth.

Postecoglou had made clear at his pre-match press conference he could not understand the mindset of wanting Spurs to lose and allowed his temper to get the better of him mid-match after personally calling out one fan in the stands. Footage shared on social media shows the Australian turning around to the crowd before pointing at someone and seeming to remark: "What did you say what did you say before that, just so I know who you are? Don’t worry mate I gotcha, I know who you are, alright."

And then in a spiky post-match interview, the Australian struggled to keep his emotions under wraps. Still clearly raging at the game and atmosphere, Postecoglou didn’t hold back. Here’s the full transcript of what he said:
