In big blow to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), its chairman Zaka Ashraf has stepped down from his role. Ashraf announced his decision to step down after chairing a managing committee meeting in Lahore on Friday. He has taken the PCB chief role from Najam Sethi in June last year. During the committee meeting chaired by Ashraf, he also thanked PCB members and Patron Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar for supporting him during his short tenure.

Mickey Arthur, Grant Bradburn and Andrew Puttick have resigned from their respective positions at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore, announced the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday. "Mickey Arthur, Grant Bradburn and Andrew Puttick, who were assigned duties at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore after a change in their portfolios in November 2023, have resigned from their respective positions," said a statement from PCB. In the aftermath of the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup, Pakistan introduced a new group of coaching staff and reassigned Arthur, Bradburn, and Puttick to roles with the NCA.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to amicably part ways with its foreign coaches Mickey Arthur, Grant Bradburn and Andrew Puttick after the senior team's poor run of form in recent times, including a forgettable World Cup campaign. A senior official of the board said on Tuesday that PCB chairman Zaka Ashraf and chief operating officer Salman Naseer would negotiate a final settlement with the trio.
Former New Zealand star Grant Bradburn on Monday announced his retirement from his position as the Pakistan team's high-performance coach. The former Kiwi batter was appointed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as the head coach of the team for a two-year period. However, after the appointment of Mohammed Hafeez as the Director of the Pakistan men's cricket team in November last year, PCB changed the portfolio of the entire coaching staff which included Bradburn. He took to X to announce his retirement from his post.
