Callum McGregor challenges Rangers to live with Celtic at their best as he tells rivals 'let's see what you've got'

Callum McGregor reckons other teams can't live with Celtic at their most intense best.

And the Parkhead skipper is keen to see what Rangers have got as he gears up for Saturday's blockbuster title showdown. Brendan Rodgers' side know that a win will leave them with one hand on the Premiership trophy, opening up a six-point gap with two games to play and a superior goal difference. Lose, and it's all square with the Hoops still to go to Rugby Park before a final day meeting with St Mirren.

Philippe Clement is yet to taste victory against the champions, and that has to change if he is to remain with a realistic chance of securing a Treble after not even a full season in charge at Ibrox. But if there's one thing McGregor knows, it's what's required to get the job done in these games. Barry Ferguson's calls for the visitors to get nasty with the Hoops captain won't phase the derby veteran, and as far as he's concerned, it's up to Rangers to keep pace with McGregor and his men when they are 100 per cent at it.

He said: "If you don't enjoy them then you're going to struggle to play at a big club like this. So over the years, you build up more experience and when the games come around then you know when you're in the middle of it, you have to enjoy it.

"You've got to enjoy the fight and the battle of it. Generally, when you do that, then you have positive experiences. So we'll definitely be trying to have another one of them.

"We've just got to stay calm and focus on doing our job. Sometimes you can become over emotional and you understand what the game means in the context of the season. But if we focus on out performance and working as hard as we possibly can for each other and the supporters, then you know straight away
