Chelsea Star Kai Havertz Is A 'Brilliant' Player And Would Get Picked Over Neymar 'Every Single Day Of The Week'

That is according to ex-Chelsea and Tottenham defender Jason Cundy, who boldly claimed that he would choose Havertz over Neymar “every single day of the week.”

Havertz put in a stellar performance for Chelsea on Thursday night, with the Blues star picking up a 3-1 win over Norwich City at Carrow Road.

Havertz, who was signed from Bayer Leverkusen in a deal worth around £71m in 2020, has taken his goalscoring tally to 10 in 33 appearances this season.

However, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel praised the former Leverkusen star for ‘stepping up’ mentality and how he “fought his way out” of his stagnating spell.
