Clyde 2 Stenhousemuir 2: Bully Wee fight back to hold champions and claim precious point

Clyde remain bottom of League Two despite an enthralling draw with champions Stenhousemuir.

The Bully Wee took an early lead through a Robbie Leitch strike but were pegged back just before the break when Edin Lynch fired home in first-half stoppage time.

It looked like the game was put out of their reach when Jordan Kirkpatrick pounced on Craig Howie's loose pass to fire home from distance in 66 minutes, but Clyde captain Barry Cuddihy came to the rescue with a precious headed equaliser five minutes later.

With just two games to go to avoid the pyramid play-off for SPFL survival, that leaves Ian McCall's men still within a point of nearest rivals Stranraer, after the Blues drew 0-0 at home to Dumbarton.

Clyde thrashed the Warriors 6-1 at Ochilview in February and they caused Gary Naysmith's men plenty of problems once again in the South Lanarkshire sunshine.
