Do Rangers look like title winners and will James Forrest carry Celtic to glory? Monday Jury

KEITH JACKSON: He’ll need more help than he got from the rest at Dens Park yesterday. But it’s getting hard to fathom why Brendan Rodgers has left him sitting on the bench for the last eight months.

MICHAEL GANNON:Forrest is not that old at 32 and he’s fresher than most, having not had too many miles on the clock this season. He can’t do it on his own, but Forrest will have a major say in the next few weeks.

ANDY NEWPORT: He should be one of the first names on the team-sheet. Only Brendan Rodgers can explain why he’s not been starting in front of Nicolas Kuhn when the German offers nothing like Forrest’s threat or experience.

KEITH: Nope. The only thing going in their favour right now is that neither do Celtic. So if one of them manages to get its act together over the next four weeks, then they’ll have plenty to feel good about this summer.

MICHAEL: Not particularly. But Celtic are not exactly sprinting to the line either. Rangers got the win and that was all that mattered, but they will need to raise their levels or they will come a cropper.

ANDY: They’re still stumbling when you’d expect them to be going full pelt to catch Celtic. Without Jack Butland you have to say there would be no contest at all.

KEITH: St Mirren remain in pole position with a two-point cushion but it’s the slenderest of stuff. However it plays out from here on in they are two highly competent, well coached sides who deserve their place in the top six.

MICHAEL: It’s going to be some scrap between two very impressive sides. Saints have been so solid but I’ve
got a feeling Dundee might sneak it.

ANDY: St Mirren have been the front runners all season and I still fancy them to edge out a Dundee side who deserve huge credit. Both Stephen
