FIFA 23: How to complete Icon Michael Essien SBC

FIFA 23 is receiving so much new content in Ultimate Team and we now have Icons available to unlock in Squad Building Challenges.

EA has added Michael Essien and David Trezeguet into the game’s SBC rotation and they can both be unlocked if you complete their respective SBC challenges.

Of course, they each have hefty requirements, meaning that you’ll need to complete more than one SBC within their group to get the cards unlocked.

Essien became a legend throughout his playing career with Ghana, Chelsea, and Real Madrid, and won pretty much everything there was to win in the club game.

Here’s a guide on how to complete the SBC and get the beast of a midfielder into your team.

The Essien card is his Baby version, meaning that there are two bigger versions of the card: an 87-rated and a 90-rated.

Still, his 85-rated card has some incredible attributes.

He has 83 pace, 78 dribbling, 72 shooting, 85 defending, 75 passing, and 87 physical, and he’s also lengthy, which fits this year’s meta.
