Benfica midfielder Joao Neves is the latest player to be linked with a move to Old Trafford. Portuguese news outlet Record are reporting that United are preparing to make an official move for Neves this summer, although an offer is yet to be made.
Neves is reported to have a €120 million (£103 million) release clause in his contract at Benfica. However, it's unclear if United would need to activate the clause in order to get a deal over the line or negotiate a lower fee with Benfica.

Should Neves be signed by United then he could take on the starting No.6 role in the midfield, which is currently held by Casemiro. If a deal gets over the line then it could be the start of the Reds shaping their dream starting line-up for next season.
