Ireland to complete World Cup prep against Scotland and the Netherlands
Ireland will face Scotland and the Netherlands in a tri-series event in Amsterdam in May ahead of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup.
Prior to the Amsterdam sortie, where all games will be staged at the VRA ground in Amstelveen, Ireland face Pakistan in Dublin on 10, 12 and 14 May.
Cricket Ireland's high performance director Richard Holdsworth believes Ireland's build-up to June's World Cup should see the national side arrive in the US top form.
"With the Men's T20 World Cup approaching, it has been important to have a solid preparation period in the lead-up," Holdsworth said.
"With the Afghan series in March, Pakistan in early May, and now the Netherlands and Scotland in late May, we feel this offers the squad a range of high-quality opponents, which will put us in good stead for the coming tournament."
