Reports have claimed that United could make a move for Bayer Leverkusen defender Jeremie Frimpong. The versatile right-back has been linked with the Reds for several weeks thanks to his impressive form in the Bundesliga for Leverkusen.

According to Give Me Sport, United are still interested in signing Frimpong. However, it has been claimed that the Reds would only pursue a deal for the Netherlands international if Aaron Wan-Bissaka was to leave the club.

United currently have Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot as their main right-back options at the club. The report concludes that in the event that Wan-Bissaka does leave Old Trafford, then Frimpong would be the Reds' first choice to be his replacement.
