Man City squad latest as players return for final Premier League push

Manchester City players returned to training on Wednesday ahead of an enormous week in their season.

The Blues were back at the City Football Academy after a few days off were awarded following their win over Wolves in what is likely to be the final break before the Premier League is concluded. City will prepare for the Fulham game on Saturday, and then it is back to Manchester to ready themselves for a return to the capital; they play Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday in their penultimate match of the league campaign.

City made the most of a full week without a game before hitting Wolves for five on Saturday but Guardiola also made sure they had some time off after the Forest game and has done the same this time, with the players heading off to various parts of the country and beyond in their free time. “The manager is great at giving us a day off when he can," Rodri said last week.
