Post split fixtures in FULL as Celtic and Rangers handed date for final derby collision

The date of the final Old Firm clash of the season has been revealed as the Scottish Premiership post-split fixtures were confirmed.

There games list was meant to be out earlier in the week but the Dundee vs Rangers pitch farce slammed the breaks on the big reveal, with the SPFL originally fearing they wouldn’t be released until the end of this week. However, with that match to go ahead at Dens Park on Wednesday night, and with Sky now having picked which games they want to broadcast live, league bosses have now been able to publish them.

And the SPFL’s super computer has thrown up what could well be a title definer – if not decider – on Saturday, May 11 when Celtic welcome Philippe Clement's team to Parkhead. Brendan Rodgers' side took care of St Mirren on Saturday in what proved to be a vital victory in the chase for the league crown and after their Glasgow rivals slipped up at Ross County, the champions are in the driving seat.

But there's also the battle to avoid the dreaded relegation playoff. Livingston look doomed, but Ross County's win over Rangers has them breathing down St Johnstone's next, while Aberdeen could probably do with one more win to make sure they aren't dragged into things.
