Sergio Aguero predicts big Bernardo Silva and Kevin De Bruyne Man City decisions

Sergio Aguero has admitted he is hopeful Bernardo Silva and Kevin De Bruyne will remain at Manchester City for next season.

Both players have been linked with exits away from the Etihad this summer, with Silva in particular being tipped to move on after several years of service.

Barcelona have long been mentioned as a possible destination for the Portuguese star, meanwhile reports earlier this year indicated Saudi Arabian clubs are showing an interest in De Bruyne.

De Bruyne's contract situation is the more concerning of the two, with the Belgian's current deal set to expire next summer. Silva is under contract until 2026, on the other hand.

Offering his view on the former, Aguero told Stake.com: "I don’t think so [he will leave]. We had an off start to the season because of his injury, leaving him on the sidelines for quite some time. When he came back, he showed that his game didn't suffer from it. Kevin is vital for the team and I think fans will be able to enjoy his skills for much longer."

Appearing less certain over Silva's future, while still calling for the former Monaco man to not leave, Aguero added: "I hope he stays at City. He's talented across the board and able to play many different roles. Bernardo knows how the team functions. This all being said, I think he deserves to choose his own future, and I hope Bernardo sees it in City."
