The Goldson or Balogun conundrum solved as 4 Rangers injuries force Clement to get creative - Ibrox squad revealed

The post split season starts now for Rangers and there is no more margin for error if they want to keep their Treble dream alive.

Philippe Clement and his team are Paisley-bound as they kick off the business end of the season looking to bounce back from a couple of stumbles that have taken their title fate out of their own hands. But a win at the SMiSA would throw the pressure firmly onto Celtic's shoulders for the later kickoff and that's exactly what they're aiming to do.

Clement hasn't had his injury troubles to seek and he'll be without a few for this one. No absence more prominent than Abdallah Sima, who could be out for the season. The boss said: "Sima will be out, I hope to see him again this season he is very motivated for that. Matondo got a bad tackle against Hearts and is doubtful for the weekend. Ridvan and Jack I expect back in training next week."

Defence is where the eyes will be when the lineup is announced as Clement considers whether or not to reinstall Connor Goldson to his backline. His official reasoning for dropping him against Hearts was that he was due a rest, and that would indicate he'll be back this weekend. But Leon Balogun did nothing to merit being dropped with many punters feeling he is the superior option - so could they be paired together here with John Souttar missing out?
