The Philippe Clement move at Rangers that could spark dressing room panic as 'demeanour change' spotted

Cillian Sheridan reckons a massive change in the Rangers starting line-up by Philippe Clement would spark "panic" in the Light Blues dressing room as he noted a change in the Ibrox manager's demeanour.

Rangers are facing questions over their credentials to lift the Scottish Premiership title this summer after they failed to find a way through Dundee just days after defeat to Ross County at Dingwall - leaving Celtic in pole position tokeep the trophy in the green half of Glasgow. Brendan Rodgers' men hold a three point advantage at the top of the table and boast a superior goal difference - while also facing Rangers at Celtic Park in the final derby clash of the campaign.

Despite their struggles in the league, the Ibrox side could reach their second final of the season as they face off against Hearts in the Scottish Cup semi-final a Hampden on Sunday. And speaking to BBC's Scottish Football podcast, former Celtic star Sheridan reckons it's not the right time for Clement to rip up the starting line-up.

He said: "It’s not the time where you want to be chopping and changing. The more you do that the more it spreads panic throughout the team. It says ‘he is feeling it’ if you do things differently.

"In terms of the game (against Hearts) it’s very hard to tell. If you were to look at it two months ago it’s hard to see past Rangers but in the last little while they have had a wobble and even the manager’s demeanour has changed after games.”
