Gio van Bronckhorst and Ronaldinho reunite as Rangers and Dutch fans say the same thing about ultimate Barcelona snap

Giovanni van Bronckhorst has kept a low profile since his Rangers departure - but he was pictured in superstar company.

The former Ibrox gaffer has yet to return to the dugout since his Glasgow exit as he awaits his next big role. After replacing Steven Gerrard at the helm, he lifted the Scottish Cup to bring trophy success to Ibrox while he masterminded a stunning Europa League run that ended in heartbreak to Frankfurt in the Seville final after a penalty shootout defeat.

While he's yet to return to the rollercoaster of the dugout and training ground, he's still keeping himself busy as he shared a snap with former Barcelona and Brazil superstar Ronaldinho. The duo were team-mates at the Nou Camp and after bumping into each other, they shared a picture moment with fans all saying the same thing as Gio posted the image online. Accompanying the image with a caption, he wrote: "Left side @fcbarcelona reunited. Great seeing you my friend @ronaldinho! Abrazo."

Punters flocked to the social media update with a number insisting Van Bronckhorst was posing alongside a FAN. One user wrote: "Gio with a fan." Another shared the same words but added a host of emojis including a red love heart.

A number of Rangers fans also added comments with a number commenting red, white and blue emoji circles. Other shared messages of support with one writing: "Once a Ger always a Ger hope you are well Gio." Another commented: "Gio!!! Looking well!."
